What you’ll do- Own writing from start to finish: website copy, press releases, pitches, bylines, LinkedIn posts, case studies, newsletters, social + article ideation
- Write in multiple styles: journalist-friendly, founder-led, punchy, research-heavy
- Research deeply and quickly - build strong angles + clean narratives
- Edit with a sharp eye: structure, flow, facts, tone, and clarity
- Client communication (updates, clarifications, timelines)
- Coordinate with founder + PR/content team to deliver results
What we’re looking for (must-have)- Strong writing + editing skills with proven range
- Strong research + detail orientation
- Ownership mindset: You drive tasks to completion without being chased
- Proactive + solution-oriented: you don’t just flag problems - you also propose fixes
- Comfortable in a fast-moving PR environment where output + results matter
Nice-to-have- Variety of writing skills, basic SEO strategy, AP style, PR experience
- CMS tool knowledge - Slack, Click-up, and more.
- Google Docs frequency
- Marketing/publishing experience, website basics
- LinkedIn content writing
Deal breakers- AI-written content
- Poor grammar
- Missed deadlines
- Non-proactive / non-responsive behavior
