Job details:
We are hiring a Content Writer. On-site, Coimbatore. Not a tools person. A thinking person.
Here's what I mean.
We built EdisonOS in Coimbatore. Our customers are in New York, New Jersey, California. They run tutoring academies, schools, and learning centers helping kids crack the SAT, ACT, SHSAT, ISEE, AP and other college readiness exams. High-stakes stuff. Real families. Real pressure. Real stories. And nobody's telling those stories.
The person I'm looking for thinks like a Journalist.
They'll sit with our sales team and listen to what a stressed parent in New Jersey is actually saying. They'll go through customer call recordings and find the one sentence that reveals everything. They'll talk to our customers, not to gather quotes, but because they're genuinely curious about what it takes to run a test prep academy in 2026. They'll listen to podcasts on US college admissions, read research on learning outcomes, and come back with an angle nobody else has thought of.
We're not writing to sell. And we're not pretending to invent anything new. The truth is, every tutor and academy owner we talk to is sitting on years of hard-won insight, what works in a classroom, what parents actually worry about, what makes a student finally click. Most of it never leaves their office. Our job is to listen, collect, organise, and give it back to the market in a form that helps the next tutor, the next academy, the next principal do their work a little better.
We're a conduit for what the best people in this space already know.
Then they'll write - Landing pages, Case studies, Newsletters, LinkedIn posts, Video scripts, Product blogs. The formats will vary. The source will always be the same: real conversations, real insight, first principles thinking.
This is not a job for someone who opens five AI tools before they open their notebook. Tools are fine. Use them to go faster. But the thinking has to come first. The curiosity has to come first. The conversation has to come first.
You need to be the kind of person who genuinely enjoys talking to people. Who can walk into a room, ask the right question, and listen deeply enough to find the story underneath the answer. Someone who can hold a real conversation with an engineer, a customer, a sales rep, and a student, and find what connects all of them.
We're a small team. Everyone owns something real here. This person will own our voice. That's not a small thing.
- If you've ever thought you'd have made a good journalist but ended up in content, this might be the role you've been waiting for.
