We're Hiring: Creative Content Writer & Scriptwriter
Location: Coimbatore (Preferred), the next big city in India
Type: Full-Time
This is not a content writing job.®
We're looking for someone who can think.
Someone who can sit in a client meeting, understand a business, ask the right questions, identify what makes the brand unique, and turn that understanding into compelling stories.
At Tape Cassette, we don't create content to fill social media calendars.
We create content that builds trust, explains businesses, influences decisions, and helps companies grow.
If you're someone who enjoys writing scripts, advertisements, documentaries, case studies, presentations, websites, brand stories, podcasts, speeches, and everything in between, this role is for you.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Understanding a client's business, products, services, and audience.
Researching industries before writing.
Developing creative concepts for advertisements and campaigns.
Writing scripts for:
Corporate Films
Brand Films
Advertisements
Product Videos
Podcasts
Explainer Videos
Social Media Videos
Documentary Films
Writing website content.
Creating company profiles and presentations.
Developing case studies.
Writing social media campaigns and captions.
Preparing interview questionnaires.
Structuring podcast conversations.
Assisting in brand strategy through communication.
Working closely with the Creative Director to convert ideas into production-ready scripts.
Presenting concepts confidently to clients whenever required.

Skills We're Looking For
Excellent English writing skills.
Good command of Tamil (preferred).
Strong research abilities.
Creative storytelling.
Scriptwriting.
Copywriting.
Presentation writing.
Website content writing.
Brand communication.
Ability to interview founders and convert conversations into engaging narratives.
Basic understanding of marketing and branding.
Comfortable receiving feedback and refining multiple drafts.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Bonus If You Have
Experience working with advertising agencies.
Journalism background.
Experience writing for YouTube or podcasts.
Documentary writing experience.
Understanding of filmmaking.
AI-assisted research and writing skills.
Experience with tools like ChatGPT, Notion, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar productivity platforms.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first few months, we should feel comfortable handing you an entire project—from understanding the client and researching the industry to writing concepts, scripts, website copy, presentations, and final production documents—with minimal intervention.
The goal isn't just to write.
The goal is to become the person everyone turns to when they ask,
"How do we communicate this better?"
