About the Role: We are looking for a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented Content Marketing & PR Specialist to lead the development of high-impact, SEO-driven content, manage social media presence, and support brand visibility through public relations efforts. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and plays a key part in driving brand storytelling, outreach, and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and edit content for blogs, website pages, landing pages, emails, press releases, and social media.
- Own end-to-end social media management across platforms — content planning, posting, community engagement, and performance tracking.
- Handle Online Reputation Management (ORM) across review platforms and social channels, including timely response to queries, complaints, and brand mentions.
- Drive copywriting for campaigns, ads, social posts, website CTAs, and marketing collateral with sharp, conversion-focused messaging.
- Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all formats.
- Develop SEO strategies to boost keyword performance and organic reach.
- Generate original content ideas aligned with brand goals and campaigns.
- Conduct research to produce accurate, engaging, and audience-focused content.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, SEO, and product teams on content needs.
- Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery.
- Edit and proofread to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment.
- Track industry trends and competitor activity to inform content direction.
- Support PR efforts through press releases, media pitches, and external communication.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (preferably from top-tier institutes like DU).
- 2-4 years of experience across content writing, social media, and copywriting, ideally in a digital-first or start-up environment.
- Solid understanding of SEO, including keyword research and on-page optimisation.
- Hands-on experience with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and ORM workflows.
- Excellent writing, editing, copywriting, and storytelling skills with strong grammar.
- Strong research and analytical skills to create fact-based, engaging content.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
