About The Role
We are seeking passionate and detail-oriented English Content Writers and Copy Editors to join our remote team in India. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful educational initiatives aimed at K–12 learners. The successful candidates will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and refining educational content that aligns with curriculum standards and instructional objectives. The role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong command of language, and the ability to adapt content for diverse age groups and learning contexts. As part of our content development team, you will collaborate closely with instructional designers, curriculum specialists, and other stakeholders to produce engaging and accurate learning materials that enhance the educational experience.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of the English language, with exceptional writing and editing skills. A background in creating or reviewing instructional or educational content is highly desirable. Candidates with experience in K–12 education, curriculum development, educational publishing, instructional design, or related fields will have a distinct advantage. Familiarity with editorial style conventions and structured content workflows is essential. Additionally, proficiency in digital collaboration and content development tools, as well as a responsible approach to leveraging AI tools, will be considered valuable assets. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for education, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
Responsibilities
Develop engaging, age-appropriate, and instructionally sound educational content tailored to various learning levels and subjects. Review and edit existing content to ensure grammatical accuracy, language precision, and adherence to style guides. Ensure consistency in tone, style, and formatting across all materials, maintaining alignment with established editorial standards. Create and refine a variety of educational resources, including student-facing learning materials, assessments, activities, teacher-facing instructional resources, graphic organizers, and practice materials. Collaborate effectively with instructional designers, curriculum specialists, content teams, and other stakeholders to ensure content quality and relevance. Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining project timelines and quality standards. Apply editorial judgment to identify content gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement, ensuring the final output meets educational objectives and learner needs.
