Deel is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Writer to join our Knowledge Team. This role is ideal for someone with a structured, process-driven mindset who excels at simplifying complex concepts, especially in the context of compliance and country-specific regulations. Assertiveness, curiosity, and collaboration are key traits for success in this role.
If you have experience in technical or compliance writing and thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, we’d love to hear from you. Candidates with primarily communications or marketing backgrounds will not be considered for this role.
What You'll Do at Deel
Create and Update Country-Specific Content: Work with subject matter experts to produce clear, concise, and impactful content that simplifies compliance-related changes for internal and external audiences.
Collaborate Across Teams: Engage with global teams to gather detailed information, resolve ambiguities, and ensure content is accurate, actionable, and aligned with Deel’s global standards.
Participate in Strategic Projects: Contribute to large-scale, cross-functional initiatives such as Compliance Go-to-Market processes, ensuring content supports operational success.
Audit and Improve Resources: Regularly review and refine existing content to maintain accuracy, clarity, and usability across all platforms.
Leverage Data for Continuous Improvement: Use analytics and feedback to optimize content clarity, usability, and impact.
Streamline and Scale Content Creation: Design templates, guidelines, and scalable solutions to drive efficiency and reduce redundancy in documentation processes.
Work with Deel’s AI Tools: Utilize internal AI tools to enhance content discoverability and synthesis for internal and external teams.
Some Key Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a technical or compliance writer, preferably in a legal, SaaS, Fintech environment or in customer support, learning & development, operations, content & communication.
Proven experience working in fast-paced, high-growth startups.
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage shifting deadlines, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver in dynamic environments.
Demonstrated ability to distill complex regulatory and operational information into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.
Proficiency with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Figma, or similar platforms.
Hands-on experience with everyday AI productivity tools.
Meticulous attention to detail with a keen eye for accuracy.
We’d Especially Love to Speak with You If You Have:
Designed Knowledge Bases for SaaS or Fintech companies.
A background in writing about legal, regulatory, or compliance-related topics.
Experience working with remote or distributed teams across diverse cultures and geographies.
Created content for global, multilingual audiences whose first language may not be English.

Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.
Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market-aligned conversion.
Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
We don't ask about salary history. Offers are based on the role and what you bring to it.
