Role Overview:
As a Senior Content & Proposal Writer at BLS International, you will be the architectural voice of our most critical growth engine: government tenders. We operate in a high-stakes environment where technical precision meets persuasive storytelling. Your mission is to translate complex operational capabilities—ranging from visa processing and biometric tech to citizen services—into compelling, winning narratives for sovereign governments and diplomatic missions worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
• Content Curation & Strategy: Lead the ""storyboarding"" phase of the RFP (Request for Proposal). You will define the win themes and ensure they are woven consistently throughout the technical and commercial response.
• Technical Writing: Draft high-quality, bespoke content for complex bid sections, including Executive Summaries, Methodology, Risk Management, and Value Proposition.
• Knowledge Management: Maintain and audit a centralized ""Bid Library."" You will be responsible for curating ""Gold Standard"" responses that can be adapted for speed without sacrificing quality.
• Stakeholder Interviewing: Extract technical nuances from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in IT, Operations, and Legal to transform ""shop talk"" into client-centric benefits.
• Quality Assurance: Act as the final gatekeeper for editorial integrity. You will ensure 100% compliance with RFP instructions while maintaining a sophisticated, professional tone that resonates with government evaluators.
• Competitor Analysis: Research and integrate SWOT-based messaging to differentiate from global competitors in the outsourcing space.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5–8 years of experience in Proposal Writing, Technical Writing, or Bid Management.
Industry- Proven track record in Visa/Citizen Services and Tech Consulting is highly preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or Business.
Skillset: Mastery of the Shipley Proposal Process or APMP or similar formal bid methodologies.
Technical Advanced proficiency in MS Word (formatting complex docs) and collaborative tools (SharePoint/Teams).
