Senior Content Strategist (SEO Team)
Location: Pithampur, Indore

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Content Strategist to lead the content pillar of our high-priority SEO initiative—Target 40–40K, aimed at reaching DR 40 and 40,000 organic visitors per month within 12 months and then grow higher thereafter.
This role requires a data-driven strategist with deep expertise in SEO content, the ability to produce and manage high-quality output at scale, and strong collaboration with SEO, design, and product teams.
You will build Alankaram’s authority in premium, luxury, solid-wood furniture across India and globally.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Planning
- Build and own the entire content roadmap aligned with SEO goals (40–40K plan).
- Conduct in-depth SEO keyword research, topic cluster creation, and competitor analysis.
- Define content clusters around:
- Solid wood / teakwood furniture
- Luxury / designer furniture
- Customisation
- Furniture for architects, HNIs, real estate, hospitality, offices
2. Content Production & Quality Management
- Guide and manage internal writers + external agencies.
- Produce or supervise blogs, buying guides, comparison articles, cluster hubs, pillar pages, and city landing pages.
- Ensure all content is:
- Optimised for keywords
- High E-E-A-T (expertise, authority, trust)
- Factually accurate
- Strongly differentiating Alankaram
3. On-Page SEO Excellence
- Implement best practices:
- Internal linking architecture
- Schema markup planning
- Canonical optimisation
- Header structure
- Image SEO
- Page-level SEO scoring
- Work with the SEO Manager for technical issue resolutions.
4. Authority Building & Link Acquisition Support
- Work closely with the Off-Page Manager to plan:
- Linkable assets
- PR-driven articles
- Guest posts
- Furniture trend reports
- Research-based content pieces
- Ensure every major content piece contributes to improving Domain Rating.
5. Tracking, Reporting & Optimization
- Measure performance on:
- Keyword rankings
- Topic cluster growth
- Organic traffic by page type
- Conversion from SEO
- Velocity of content production
- Present weekly & monthly performance reports for Project 40–40K.
6. Cross-Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with:
- SEO Manager
- Graphic team
- Website development
- PR team
- Product & showroom teams
- Gather insights for product education content and trend-based articles.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- 5–10 years of experience in SEO content strategy (e-commerce preferred)
- Deep knowledge of:
- Keyword clustering
- Topical authority
- E-E-A-T best practices
- On-page SEO
- Hub-and-spoke content architecture
- Experience scaling content for high DR growth and high organic traffic outcomes.
- Excellent writing, editing, and research skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with luxury/lifestyle/home/interiors/furniture industry
- Understanding of website UX & CRO
- Experience managing writers and freelancers
- Ability to work in Pithampur on-site with a focused team
