ABOUT THE ROLE :
We are hiring a content writer who can own the full creative journey — from brief to final output — across social media, video, and AI-assisted production. You'll sit at the intersection of performance marketing and creative, working closely with designers, media buyers, and creators to build content that earns attention and drives results.
This is a hands-on role with real creative ownership. You won't be feeding a content calendar — you'll be shaping how organisation shows up across international markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social media content
- Write platform-native copy for Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube — adapting format and tone per channel.
- Develop hooks, captions, and CTAs for paid social campaigns across US, India, ME, APAC, UK, and Australia Collaborate with design and motion teams to deliver complete creative assets, not just standalone copy.
- Stay close to social trends and proactively surface content ideas, especially for performance creatives
Video scripting & production
- Write scripts for UGC-style ads, testimonials, explainer videos, and short-form social content
- Structure narratives with a strong hook, clear message arc, and compelling CTA
- Brief and guide creators and influencers; review deliverables against the creative brief
- Support production with shot lists, scene descriptions, and on-screen text overlays where needed
AI-assisted production
- Use AI tools daily to accelerate drafts, generate copy variants, and scale output without losing quality
- Build and maintain prompt libraries for recurring content formats — ads, scripts, captions
- Critically evaluate AI-generated output and edit for brand voice, accuracy, and performance intent
- Use AI image and video tools to prototype creative concepts before production
REQUIREMENTS
Must-haves
- 4–6 years of content writing experience, preferably in edtech, consumer tech, or performance marketing
- A strong portfolio spanning social, video scripts, and at least one long-form format
- Proven video scripting experience — actual scripts that shipped, not just familiarity with the format
- Daily, hands-on use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or equivalent) in your writing workflow
- Comfort with performance data — you understand CTR, CPL, and conversion metrics and use them to sharpen creative decisions
- Excellent written English; working knowledge of another market language is a plus
Good to have
- Experience writing for international markets, especially US or Middle East
- Background briefing and reviewing creator or influencer content
- Understanding of paid creative strategy — what performs, not just what sounds good
- Familiarity with AI video and image tools (Runway, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, etc.)
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN 90 DAYS
- You've independently shipped at least 3 social ad campaigns across 2+ markets
- You've written and delivered scripts for a complete video production cycle
- You've built a prompt library for at least 2 recurring content formats used by the team
- You're flagging content opportunities proactively — not waiting on briefs
