Dear Candidates,
We are seeking an experienced Content Team Lead our content operations, editorial strategy, and content team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in journalism, news publishing, or digital media, combined with proven experience managing content teams and driving audience engagement across multiple platforms. This role requires excellent editorial judgment, leadership skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely content.
Experience: 3 to 6 years
Location: KPHB/ HYD
Working Days: Mon to Fri
Notice Period: Immediate/ 15 Days
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of writers, editors, content producers, and freelancers.
- Assign content projects and monitor deadlines and deliverables.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and skill development initiatives.
- Foster collaboration between editorial, marketing, design, and product teams.
- Drive a high-performance, deadline-oriented newsroom or content environment.
Newsroom & Publishing Operations
- Oversee daily content production and publishing workflows.
- Ensure timely coverage of breaking news and emerging stories.
- Maintain journalistic standards, fact-checking processes, and ethical reporting practices.
- Review and approve content before publication.
- Manage content distribution across websites, social media, newsletters, and partner channels.
Analytics & Growth
- Monitor content KPIs, including traffic, engagement, retention, and conversions.
- Use analytics tools to evaluate content performance and recommend improvements.
- Generate regular reports and insights for senior leadership.
- Implement data-driven strategies to increase audience growth and engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's / Masters degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media Studies, or a related field.
