About the Role
We are looking for a Content Lead who thinks in campaigns, not just captions a senior creative professional who can set the strategic and creative direction for content across a diverse portfolio of brands.
This is a people leadership role. You will own brand tonality, drive campaign ideation, oversee copy output, and build a content team that consistently raises the creative bar. If you have spent years in agency life crafting brand voices, leading pitches, and transforming briefs into bold ideas this role was designed for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the content and social copy team establishing creative direction, quality standards, and a culture of craft and accountability.
- Own brand voice and tonality frameworks across a portfolio of premium, lifestyle, and consumer brands.
- Drive end-to-end campaign ideation - from initial concept through to final execution across social media, digital, OOH, and integrated brand communication.
- Partner closely with design, strategy, and client servicing teams to deliver cohesive, insight-driven creative work.
- Write and review high-quality copy across all formats: social copy, brand narratives, ad scripts, campaign messaging, pitch content, and brand guidelines.
- Lead creative content for new business pitches - shaping bold, differentiated territories that win.
- Mentor junior and mid-level writers; actively develop team capability, creativity, and professional growth.
- Track cultural trends, platform behaviour, and audience shifts - and translate these into actionable creative direction.
- Maintain final sign-off authority on all content output, ensuring strategic alignment, brand consistency, and creative excellence.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional command of brand communication and creative copywriting - strong English fluency across registers and formats is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to build, evolve, and safeguard brand voice and tonality across diverse categories.
- Strong conceptual and campaign thinking - platform-native, culturally aware, and audience-led.
- In-depth understanding of social media platforms: Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Versatile writing range - long-form, short-form, scripts, taglines, packaging copy, and pitch narratives.
- Proven capacity to manage multiple brands and concurrent deliverables without compromising creative quality.
- Confident people leader - adept at mentoring, briefing, reviewing, and motivating a creative team.
- Effective communicator and collaborator - equally comfortable with creative teams and senior clients.
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to maintain craft standards under pressure and tight timelines.
Preferred Background
We are looking specifically for talent shaped by agency environments - professionals who understand the pace, pressure, and creative rigour that comes with building brands at scale. The ideal candidate will have grown their career within reputed creative, branding, or integrated digital agencies with a strong portfolio of multi-brand work across premium and consumer categories.
- Minimum 4+ years of agency experience in branding, creative, or social media environments (mandatory).
- 7–10 years of total professional experience in brand communication, content strategy, or creative copywriting.
- At least 1–2 years in a team lead or creative lead capacity, managing content or copy professionals.
- Category exposure in premium, lifestyle, hospitality, luxury, fashion, or FMCG brands is a strong advantage.
- Experience managing multi-brand accounts simultaneously within an agency setup.
