About Prakriti Project
Prakriti Project is the D2C brand of Satvic Movement- India's largest natural living community. We sell organic food, natural skincare, books, and lifestyle products to an audience that trusts us not just as a brand, but as a way of life.
We are not building a store. We are building a community around conscious, natural living, and everything we create needs to feel like it comes from that place.
The Role
- We have a design team, a video team, and an editing team. What we don't have yet is someone who does the thinking- someone who decides what gets made, why, and when.
- As Brand & Content Strategist, you will be the brain behind everything Prakriti Project puts out into the world. You won't be designing or shooting, you'll be briefing the people who do. You'll plan the content calendar, write copy for our WhatsApp campaigns and emails, brief the design team on visuals, and make sure everything we say feels consistent, warm, and true to who we are.
- You'll work closely with the Category Leads for Skincare and Groceries to understand what products need attention and what stories need telling. Shashank (Chief of Staff) will be your day-to-day point of coordination.
What You Will Own
- Monthly and weekly content calendar across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, WhatsApp, and email
- Creative briefs for the design and video teams - clear, specific, and actionable
- WhatsApp campaign copy - product launches, restock reminders, community updates
- Email newsletter - product stories, recipes, usage guidance, founder updates
- Community engagement - polls, Q&As, behind-the-scenes, and moments of vulnerability and transparency
- Website copy direction and product packaging briefs, in coordination with the design team
- Monthly community updates - sharing what we're building, what's working, and what isn't
- Design execution, video shooting, editing - we have a team for that
What You Will Not Own
- Design execution, video shooting, editing - we have a team for that
- Customer support or order management
- Performance marketing or paid ads. Organic growth is the focus currently.
What We Are Looking For
Must-haves
- 2–4 years in content strategy, brand communication, or community management — ideally for a values-led brand in wellness, organic food, sustainable lifestyle, or conscious living
- A strong writer - someone who can make a WhatsApp message feel personal and an email feel worth reading
- Experience briefing creative teams- designers, videographers, editors
- Comfort with community-first formats - polls, Q&As, transparent founder updates, not just polished campaigns
- Someone who personally connects with natural living and the Satvic philosophy - this is non-negotiable
Good to haves
- Familiarity with WhatsApp marketing tools (WATI or similar) and email platforms
- Experience in a small team or startup where you wear multiple hats
- Understanding of Instagram and YouTube Shorts as community channels, not just broadcast channels
Who This Role Is Not For
- Someone whose primary skill is graphic design or video editing
- Someone from a large agency background used to big budgets and long timelines
- Someone who sees social media as a reach game rather than a relationship game
- Someone who needs a fully defined playbook before they can start

This is a high-ownership role. You’ll be expected to bring your own ideas, push back when something doesn’t feel right, and take full accountability for how the Prakriti Project shows up in the world.
Important Note:
This role is a work from office role, based out of our HQ at Devanahalli, Bangalore. We work 6 days a week.
