About the role:
The Content strategist role is about owning the entire content engine—creating and optimizing content that drives both engagement and sales. You’ll work across, UGC, and website content, constantly testing what performs best and scaling it. The role blends creativity with data, requiring you to make content decisions based on performance, not just aesthetics. It’s a high-impact role where your work directly influences brand growth and revenue.
Specifically, this role will involve:
● Creating witty, engaging, and original content for social media platforms.
● Managing follow-ups and optimizing content performance.
● Staying updated with current trends, memes, and digital culture.
● Collaborating with teams for content approvals and execution.
● Driving audience engagement through creative storytelling and hum
● Planning and executing the content calendar across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and WhatsApp
● Owning website content including homepage, product pages (PDPs), and brand storytelling pages
● Collaborating with performance marketing to create high-converting ad creatives
● Turning customer reviews and testimonials into engaging content assets
Ideal candidate will have:
● 1–3 years of experience in content, brand, or creative roles in a D2C or consumer brand
● Strong understanding of UGC and what drives engagement/performance
● Strong copywriting skills across formats (ads, product copy, social media)
● Familiarity with tools like Canva, Figma, and short-form video formats
● Ability to think both creatively and strategically about content systems
● Excellent writing skills with a natural, human tone (not templated).
● Deep understanding of memes, trends, and social media timing.
● Ability to create content that grabs attention instantly.
● A knack for making audiences stop scrolling and engage.
● A “viral mindset” - someone who instinctively knows what might work online.
● Strong observational skills and relatability in content creation.
Qualifications:
- ● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (preferred).
