Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Content Specialist based in Chennai. The Content Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing high-quality web content, creating compelling written materials, and crafting effective content strategies. Responsibilities include producing engaging copy, ensuring consistency with the brand voice, and working closely with the design and marketing teams to enhance communication materials and digital presence.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Web Content Writing, Writing, and developing Content Strategies
- Experience in Content Management and organizing digital content effectively
- Strong Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging target audiences
- Familiarity with basic SEO practices and a keen eye for detail is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Prior experience in interior design, home décor, or a creative industry is highly desirable
What you’ll own
- Instagram: ideation, scripting, posting, captions, and stories
- LinkedIn: brand communication, culture-led content, and leadership thought leadership
- Voice-led writing: writing in a distinct leadership voice with strong ghostwriting instinct
- Ad scripts: paid campaign scripts across platforms
- Weekly analytics: track what performs, spot patterns, and turn insights into sharper content
What we’re looking for
- 1-4 years of content writing experience
- Prior experience managing a brand account, founder account, or leadership profile is preferred
- Strong written English with platform-specific understanding
- Ability to switch between brand storytelling and personal brand writing without losing clarity or consistency
- A strong instinct for voice, tone, and audience relevance
- Someone who treats analytics as a habit, not an afterthought
- Chennai-based candidates preferred
