Every month we publish research studies, interview industry leaders, speak with students across India, produce podcasts, and create reports that help companies, educators, policymakers and young people better understand the next generation.
We're looking for our first Editorial & Research Fellow to help build this mission from the ground up.

You'll help create original knowledge.

Help us understand young people better than anyone else in India.
Everything you do should answer questions like:
- What are students worried about?
- Which careers excite them?
- How is AI changing their future?
- Which brands do they love?
- What makes them happy?
- How do they learn?
- What influences their decisions?
If we can answer these questions better than anyone else, we win.
What You'll Do1. Editorial ResearchThis will be your biggest responsibility.
You'll
- Read reports every day
- Discover interesting trends
- Fact-check information
- Find surprising statistics
- Research stories before they're written
- Prepare editorial research notes
- Monitor emerging youth trends
Think of yourself as the newsroom's detective.
2. Industry EngagementWrite stories people actually want to read.
Not breaking news.
Not AI-generated fluff.
Research only becomes valuable when it reaches the right people.
As part of the fellowship, you'll have the opportunity to interact with some of India's most influential professionals.
Depending on the project, you may:
- Reach out to CEOs, founders, marketing leaders, policymakers, educators and researchers.
- Coordinate interviews with industry experts for our reports and podcasts.
- Invite brands to contribute perspectives to our research.
- Conduct short video conversations and expert interviews.
- Build relationships with PR teams, communications professionals and thought leaders.
- Represent TheYouthTalks in conferences, webinars, campus events and industry discussions.
- Help convert research into meaningful industry conversations.

Duration: 6 months (with the possibility of a full-time role based on performance)
