Role Overview
You will own day-to-day content creation across blogs, LinkedIn, and Instagram—turning AI-in-education ideas into clear, high-trust content for parents, teachers, and students. Working closely with the founder and the designer, you will plan, write, publish, and optimise content that builds brand authority and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
• Craft LinkedIn content: thought-leadership posts, carousel copy, founder-led narratives, case studies, product announcements, and community polls.
• Create Instagram content: captions, hooks, content-series concepts, reel scripts (short + punchy), and story copy that drives saves and shares.
• Write high-quality blog posts on AI, education, parenting, and teacher-focused themes with simple explanations, real-world examples, and actionable takeaways.
Content Strategy & Operations
• Repurpose content across formats (blog → LinkedIn → IG carousel/reel → newsletter snippets → email drip sequences) to maximise reach from each content piece.
• Build and maintain a content calendar with clear deadlines, approval workflows, and publishing schedules.
• Define and document the brand voice guide to ensure consistency across all channels
Collaboration & Analytics
• Track content performance (engagement rate, impressions, saves, shares, blog traffic, time-on-page) and produce a fortnightly insights summary.
• A/B-test hooks, CTAs, and formats; iterate based on data, not assumptions.
• Coordinate with the tutoring and product teams to source student stories, testimonials, and classroom insights for content.
Must-Have Requirements
• 2–3 years of experience writing content for a brand (startup, EdTech, or tech strongly preferred).
• Hands-on experience creating content for LinkedIn and Instagram—samples required at the time of application.
• Comfortable writing structured long-form (1,200–2,000-word blogs) and high-impact short-form (hooks, captions, thread-style posts).
• Ability to internalise a brand voice quickly and create consistent, series-based content.
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals: heading hierarchy, keyword research, internal linking, meta descriptions.
• Basic understanding of AI concepts (LLMs, prompting, hallucinations, AI safety) and an ability to translate these for a lay audience.
Good-to-Have
• Prior experience in EdTech, parenting content, or education communities.
• Experience building and growing email newsletters or Substack-style content.
• Community and engagement experience: commenting strategy, creator collaborations, UGC campaigns.
