BeyondTheBell is an online chess academy helping students and adults learn and improve at chess through personalized coaching.
We're looking for a Content Creator Intern / Contractor who is comfortable speaking on camera and wants to help us create short-form video content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
What you'll do:- Record short-form videos based on topics and scripts provided by our team
- Speak naturally and confidently on camera
- Create simple, engaging chess-related content for parents, students, and adult learners
- Follow basic content briefs and take feedback on delivery and presentation
- Record and submit raw footage to our team for editing and publishing
- Occasionally contribute ideas for new content formats and topics
You will not be responsible for video editing. Our team will handle editing, captions, publishing, and distribution.
What we're looking for:- Comfortable and confident speaking on camera
- Good communication and presentation skills
- A natural, engaging personality
- Basic understanding or interest in chess is a plus
- Previous experience creating Reels, Shorts, TikToks, or other social content is a plus
- Willingness to experiment and improve based on feedback
What you'll need: - A decent smartphone or camera capable of recording good-quality video
- Good lighting and a reasonably clean filming setup
- A quiet environment suitable for recording
CompensationThis is a paid position. Compensation will depend on experience, content volume, and the scope of the engagement.
