About Education Japan
Education Japan is an Indo-Japan education platform helping students explore higher education opportunities in Japan through counseling, digital media, institutional collaborations, and student engagement initiatives.
We are also building Sakura Quest, a growing Indo-Japan education and cultural platform connecting students, universities, institutions, and organizations.
As we continue to scale our digital presence, we are looking for a highly execution-oriented Content & Social Media Executive who can help manage day-to-day content operations, audience engagement, and digital growth across platforms.
Role Overview
This role is ideal for someone who understands the fast-moving nature of digital content and social media ecosystems. The candidate will work closely with the content strategy and media team to execute content plans across YouTube, Instagram, podcasts, newsletters, and digital campaigns.
The ideal candidate should have strong understanding of social media trends, YouTube content packaging, audience engagement, and digital content workflows. This is not a purely design or posting role — we are looking for someone who understands how content performs and how digital platforms grow.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Operations
- Manage day-to-day publishing across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms
- Coordinate content calendars and publishing schedules
- Upload and optimize YouTube videos, reels, shorts, and social media content
- Write captions, descriptions, titles, and basic SEO-friendly content metadata
- Coordinate with editors and designers to ensure timely execution
YouTube & Content Growth Support
- Support YouTube growth initiatives through understanding of titles, thumbnails, hooks, audience retention, and content packaging
- Monitor content performance and identify patterns in engagement and reach
- Suggest trending content formats and audience-relevant ideas
- Assist in improving content presentation and digital engagement
Audience Engagement & Community Management
- Monitor comments, DMs, and audience interactions across platforms
- Support audience engagement and community-building initiatives
- Help maintain brand tone and communication consistency across digital platforms
Content Coordination & Campaign Support
- Support planning and execution of content shoots, campaigns, and promotional initiatives
- Coordinate with internal teams during campaigns and event promotions including Sakura Quest
- Assist with newsletters, website updates, and communication workflows where required

Skills We Are Looking For
- Strong understanding of Instagram and YouTube and Instagram ecosystems
- Understanding of digital audience behavior and engagement
- Good content judgment and aesthetic sense
- Awareness of content packaging including hooks, titles, thumbnails, and pacing
- Ability to coordinate and execute content efficiently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with AI tools and modern content workflows is a plus
- Basic understanding of SEO and content discoverability preferred

- CapCut / Premiere Pro (basic understanding preferred)
- Google Analytics / Social Media Insights
- Notion / Content Planning Tools
- AI tools such as ChatGPT and other content assistance platforms
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong fresh candidates with exceptional understanding of digital content and social media ecosystems may also be considered
