A leading provider in Digital Content Moderation and Trust & Safety services, supporting platform safety, policy compliance and community standards enforcement for global clients. We enable safe user experiences across social platforms, marketplaces and UGC-driven products through scalable review workflows and data-driven quality assurance.
Fully remote contractual opportunity for candidates based in India. This opening requires a Master’s degree (mandatory) and is focused on high-accuracy content review across text, image and video assets.
Primary Title
Content Moderator (Contractual) — Masters Only
Role & Responsibilities
- Review user-generated content (text, images, video) against defined community guidelines and platform policies to determine allowed vs. violative content.
- Apply policy judgment consistently, document rationale for decisions, and tag content accurately for downstream analytics and training.
- Escalate complex, borderline, or high-risk cases to senior reviewers and Trust & Safety leads using established workflows.
- Meet productivity and quality KPIs (throughput, accuracy, SLA adherence) while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Use moderation and case-management platforms to log decisions, add context, and assist in trend identification and reporting.
- Collaborate with QA and policy teams to incorporate feedback, update decision notes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
- Master's degree (any discipline) — mandatory for this role.
- Fluency in English: strong written comprehension and clear written judgement documentation.
- Prior experience in content moderation, trust & safety, or related quality-assurance roles.
- Proven ability to apply community guidelines and policy enforcement consistently.
- Comfortable working remotely with flexible shift schedules and meeting SLA-driven targets.
- Familiarity with moderation platforms and case-management tools; strong attention to detail and accuracy focus.
Preferred
- Experience reviewing multimedia content (images, short-form video) and contextual content moderation.
- Knowledge of regional languages relevant to India (Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, etc.)
- Prior exposure to automated moderation systems and escalation workflows.
