Role Overview
As our Content Marketing Lead, you’ll be the voice of EDUCIS across all digital channels. You’ll create compelling content that educates, inspires, and converts—from in-depth guides on navigating Ivy League admissions to powerful student success stories that showcase real outcomes. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on content creation. You’ll work closely with our founders, mentors, and admissions team to uncover insights, craft narratives, and build content systems that drive organic traffic and qualified leads.
Key Responsibilities
CONTENT STRATEGY & PLANNING- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business objectives
- Own the content calendar across blog, social media, email, webinars, and resources
- Identify high-impact topics through keyword research, audience insights, and competitive analysis
- Create content frameworks and templates to maintain consistency and quality
CONTENT CREATION- Write and edit long-form blog posts, guides, and resources on admissions topics
- Craft compelling student success stories and case studies with measurable outcomes
- Develop email nurture campaigns segmented by grade level and interests
- Create webinar content and presentation materials for thought leadership
- Write website copy that converts visitors into leads
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT- Manage and grow EDUCIS presence on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Create engaging social content mix: educational, inspirational, and student-focused
- Monitor trends and conversations in the education and admissions space
- Engage with community, respond to comments, and build relationships
SEO & ORGANIC GROWTH- Optimize content for search engines while maintaining quality and readability
- Build internal linking strategy and improve site architecture for SEO
- Track organic traffic, rankings, and conversions; iterate based on performance
- Identify opportunities for featured snippets, topic clusters, and authority building
CROSS FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION- Work with admissions team to surface compelling student stories and insights
- Coordinate with designers on visual content and brand consistency
- Support performance marketing team with landing page copy and ad creative
- Partner with leadership to amplify their thought leadership and expertise
What We’re Looking For – Essential
- 3-5 years of content marketing experience, preferably in education, EdTech, or B2C services
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with ability to adapt tone for different audiences
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization
- Experience managing social media channels and growing engaged communities
- Basic video editing skills and comfort with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Data-driven approach to measuring content performance and iterating
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
What We’re Looking For – Preferred
- Understanding of global university admissions or experience in the education sector
- Experience creating content for affluent Indian families or premium brands
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Background in journalism, communications, or creative writing
- Portfolio demonstrating versatility across formats (long-form, social, email, video)

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Communication and Writing to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in Web Content Writing and Content Strategy to craft engaging and impactful materials across platforms.
- Expertise in Content Management to organize, maintain, and optimize content for web and digital marketing purposes.
- Team collaboration and leadership abilities to work closely with internal teams and manage cross-departmental marketing projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Ability to adapt to hybrid work requirements and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in educational content development or related sectors is an advantage.
