Role Summary
We're a finance and trading content brand, and we're growing. The videos are being made, the
scripts are coming together, and the founder has a clear creative vision.
What we need now is someone who can hold the whole operation together from the inside.
As Content Manager, you'll be the person who makes sure nothing slips through the cracks,
ideas get captured, videos get planned, uploads go out on time, and the channel keeps
growing with intention.
You'll work directly with the founder and the creative team, sitting at the centre of everycentre of everything
that happens between an idea and a published video.
Eligibility for this Role
● At least 1 year of hands-on experience managing a YouTube channel with 1 lakh
(100,000) or more subscribers. Not working adjacent to one, actually managing it.
● Planning the calendar, coordinating uploads, tracking what was performed and what
wasn't.
● Comfortable enough with finance content to understand what a video is about and
why it might resonate with the audience.
● Understanding of the YouTube Studio dashboard and drawing a useful conclusion
from it. You don't need to be a data analyst, just comfortable with numbers.
● Experience with YouTube SEO and search-driven content strategy
● Familiarity with video editing workflows (you don't need to edit — just enough tocommunicate with editors)
● Experience managing Shorts or Reels as part of a content strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Content Calendar & Planning
● Build and maintain a rolling monthly content calendar across YouTube long-formShorts, and other formats
● Coordinate between the scriptwriter, editor, and founder to make sure every video
moves through the pipeline on time
● Flag bottlenecks early. If a script is delayed or an edit isn't ready, you're the one who
catches it before it becomes a problem
● Maintain a backlog of video ideas so the team always has something to work on, even
during slower creative periods
Ideation & Topic Research
● Bring 5–10 fresh video ideas to weekly planning sessions, researched and ready to
discuss, not just titles, but a rough sense of angle and audience hook
● Track what's trending in finance, trading, and personal money content on YouTube,
Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, and bring relevant signals to the table
● Study competitor and peer channels to understand what's working in the space and
where there are gaps we could fill
● Help develop series concepts and content themes that give the channel a consistent identity beyond individual videos
Publishing & Channel Operations
● Handle all YouTube uploads, titles, descriptions, tags, cards, end screens, chapters,
and thumbnails coordination
● Write or review video descriptions optimised for both viewers and search, in line with
the channel's voice
● Schedule uploads at optimal times and manage the publishing queue
● Maintain a clean file system for scripts, edits, thumbnails, and published assets
Analytics & Performance Tracking
● Pull weekly and monthly YouTube analytics reports, views, watch time, CTR,
subscriber growth, and top-performing content
● Translate numbers into plain-language insights: what's working, what isn't, and what
we should do differently
● Track thumbnail and title performance and suggest A/B tests when CTR needs
improvement
● Keep an eye on audience retention patterns to give feedback to the editing team about pacing and drop-off points
Community & Cross-Platform Presence
● Monitor YouTube comments and surface audience questions or feedback that could
inform future video ideas
● Coordinate repurposing of long-form content into Shorts, carousels, or clips for
Instagram and other platforms
● Help manage community posts, polls, and pinned comments to keep the channel
feeling active between upload
