Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Content Intern to support content creation, curation, publishing, and engagement initiatives for the Pinkvilla App. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in entertainment, celebrity news, social media trends, and digital content. This role offers hands-on experience in content operations, audience engagement, and app growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating, curating, and publishing engaging content on the Pinkvilla App.
- Monitor entertainment, celebrity, lifestyle, and social media trends to identify content opportunities.
- Write and optimize short-form content, captions, polls, quizzes, and community posts.
- Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with Pinkvilla’s editorial standards.
- Coordinate with editorial, social media, video, and design teams for content execution.
- Upload, schedule, and manage content through the CMS.
- Track content performance and assist in preparing basic reports and insights.
- Monitor user engagement, comments, and feedback within the app ecosystem.
- Support special campaigns, contests, live events, and app-exclusive content initiatives.
- Maintain content quality, consistency, and timely publishing schedules.
Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media, Marketing, English, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Passion for Bollywood, entertainment, celebrity culture, OTT content, and pop culture trends.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital content consumption patterns.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is an advantage.
- Proactive, creative, and eager to learn.
Preferred Qualities
- Strong news sense and ability to identify trending topics quickly.
- Understanding of audience engagement and community-building strategies.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and content optimization is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take ownership.
