Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Content to lead end-to-end content vision and execution across all formats — text, audio, video, interactive, and AI-generated content. The ideal candidate should have deep experience building scalable content ecosystems for consumer-facing platforms and driving audience engagement through content innovation.
This role will own content strategy, content operations, AI-powered content transformation, and cross-functional execution while ensuring consistency in brand voice, quality, and business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise-wide content strategy across text, video, audio, and emerging formats.
- Build and scale AI-driven content capabilities including content generation, personalization, automation, and optimization.
- Lead content lifecycle management from ideation to production, distribution, and performance measurement.
- Drive audience growth, engagement, and conversion through impactful content initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Design, Data, and Technology teams.
- Establish content governance, quality standards, editorial frameworks, and operational processes.
- Build and lead high-performing content teams across multiple functions.
- Use analytics and customer insights to continuously optimize content performance.
- Stay ahead of trends in GenAI, digital storytelling, content platforms, and consumer behavior.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience managing large-scale content ecosystems.
- Expertise across content formats — text, audio, video, and AI-assisted content.
- Hands-on exposure to AI/GenAI content tools and content automation platforms.
- Strong understanding of content analytics, audience behavior, SEO, and engagement metrics.
- Experience leading large teams and stakeholder management.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong Head of Content profile –
- Mandatory (Experience 1) – Must have minimum 12+ years of experience in Content Strategy, Content Operations, and Digital Content leadership roles.
- Mandatory (Experience 2) – Proven experience leading and scaling content across multiple formats including text, audio, video, interactive, and digital platforms.
- Mandatory (Experience 3) – Expertise in content strategy, editorial frameworks, content lifecycle management, audience analytics, SEO, content personalization, AI tools, content governance, and performance measurement.
- Mandatory (Experience 4) – Must have hands-on exposure to AI-powered content creation, GenAI tools, content automation, or AI-driven content transformation initiatives.
- Mandatory (Experience 5) – Demonstrated experience in driving content engagement, audience growth, customer retention, and business impact through data-backed content strategies
- Mandatory (Experience 6) – Strong team leadership experience with cross-functional collaboration across Product, Technology, Marketing, Design, and Analytics teams
- Mandatory (Company) – Strong preference for candidates from FinTech, Consumer Internet, Media, OTT, EdTech, Digital Platforms, or large-scale B2C organizations.
- Mandatory (CTC) – The CTC breakup offered will be up to 75% Fixed + 25% Variable, as per company policy
- Preferred (Experience 1) – Experience in building AI-first content ecosystems and personalization frameworks
- Preferred (Experience 2) – Exposure to recommendation engines, automation workflows, or content intelligence platforms.
- Preferred (Experience 3) – Prior experience handling large-scale content teams and multi-channel content distribution.
