About the Job:
We're looking for a Content Creator with sharp instincts for what will land on social media to join our team at Gramiyaa. You'll be the one who digs into a topic until it becomes worth filming, writes the script, plans and executes the shoot, and hands over an edited, publish-ready video. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Research & Ideate: Dig into food culture, ingredient history, regional recipes, and people's stories to develop content from scratch.
- Script & Plan: Write scripts and shot lists that translate ideas into visuals. Tight, purposeful, no filler.
- Shoot & Edit: Handle shoots independently, directing behind a camera, understands framing, natural lighting, focus, movement. Deliver ready to post videos with captions, music, subtitles. Hand off longer-form edits with a clean rough cut to our visual team.
- Maintain Content Library: Keep an organized content library with structured file naming that’s easy to use.
Who We’re Looking For:
- You have experience creating content, could be brand, personal, institutional. But it must have storytelling that holds.
- You understand digital culture, go beyond the 1st page of Google to create well-researched, fact-checked content that engages the audience.
- You can learn and understand our brand voice and style, and pitch original ideas accordingly.
- You are comfortable working fast, staying organized and meeting deadlines.
- You can communicate and collaborate across a team.
- You can receive feedback with openness, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset.
