About ZoopZoop is a live commerce platform where shoppers discover and buy trendy and branded lifestyle products through live drops and auctions. It's shopping that feels like an event, not a catalogue scroll.
Zoop is backed by Peak XV and Lumikai and built by a founding team obsessed with how India shops. Our vision is to build India's defining live shopping destination: a platform where the best deals feel like entertainment.
Role OverviewWe're looking for a Gen Z Content Creator & Strategist who can think it, write it and shoot it. You'll own the creative that powers Zoop's growth: high-converting Meta ads, influencer campaigns and UGC that make people stop scrolling, tune into a live drop and buy.
You'll come up with the ideas, write the scripts, shoot content yourself and brief and manage the creators who shoot the rest. You'll live on Instagram, spot trends before they peak and turn them into content that performs. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role, and it can grow into leading Zoop's content and creative function.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of Zoop's shoppers: what grabs their attention, what makes them tune into a live drop, and what makes them bid and buy.
- Own the creative pipeline for paid ads: generate ideas, write scripts and hooks, and deliver a steady flow of Meta ad creatives (Reels, Stories, statics and carousels) built to convert.
- Write sharp, scroll-stopping scripts for ads, influencer integrations, UGC and organic content, and keep a constant bank of fresh scripting ideas and angles.
- Shoot and edit content yourself: on-phone UGC-style videos, product showcases, unboxings, hauls, reactions.
- Source, brief and manage influencers and UGC creators end to end, from scripts and short lists to feedback, timelines and final delivery.
- Track Instagram memes and trends, and turn the right ones into Zoop content fast.
- Work with the growth team to test hooks, angles, formats and creators, read ad performance (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS) and double down on what works.
- Build a library of winning hooks, scripts and creative learnings that the team can reuse and scale.
- Work with the founders, growth, product and live-ops teams to plan campaigns around drops, auctions and launches.
Desired Skills & Experience- Super comfortable working with AI to generate creatives. We use AI to experiment with creatives, while we don’t appreciate AI slop scripts and copy.
- 2-4 years of experience in content creation and performance creative generation.
- Experience at a consumer tech company, or D2C brand .
- Proven track record of making Meta ad content that drove results. Should be prepared to share examples and the numbers behind them.
- Strong scriptwriting skills, with a knack for hooks and a never-ending supply of content ideas.
- Comfortable on both sides of the camera: shooting, directing and editing content yourself (CapCut, InShot, Premiere or similar).
- Lives on Instagram and knows what's trending, what's dated and why something works.
- A strong grasp of Indian shoppers, especially in fashion, lifestyle and deals.
- Comfort using performance data to judge creative quality and decide what to make next.
- Fluency in English and Hindi, and the ability to write in the voice of Indian internet culture (Hinglish).
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a hunger to own outcomes, not just tasks.
What Success Looks Like- A steady, high-volume flow of ad creatives, with clear winners that scale.
- Better hook rates, CTR, CPA and ROAS on Meta, driven by stronger creative.
- A reliable bench of influencers and UGC creators who deliver on brief and on time.
- Zoop content that feels native to Instagram and gets people to show up for lives.
- A documented creative playbook of winning hooks, scripts, formats and learnings that the team can build on.
Why This Is a Rare 0→1 OpportunityMost content roles hand you a brand book and a calendar and ask you to fill it. This one doesn't. Zoop is at the stage where the creative playbook hasn't been written yet, and you'll be the one writing it.
You'll shape a new category in India. Live shopping is already huge in China and the US but still early here. You get to define how live commerce looks, sounds and feels to Indian shoppers.
You'll build from zero to one. You'll find the hooks, formats and creators that work for Zoop and turn them into a repeatable creative engine.
You'll learn at startup speed. Ads go live and drops run every day, so you see how your content performs within hours, not quarters. Few roles let you test this many ideas this fast.
You'll have a seat at the table. You'll work directly with the founders on strategy, not just execution, with a clear path to leading content and creative as we scale.
The work will be on your résumé for a long time. Being part of the founding team of the next big consumer platform in India is the kind of experience that defines a career.
Why Join Us?- Help build the next big consumer platform in India from the ground up.
- Work closely with the founders and leadership, backed by top-tier investors (Peak XV, Lumikai).
- A high-ownership, high-impact role in a fast-moving team.
