HIRING AT The Millennial Kitchen (TMK) PANTRY
I'm Mira Shah, co-founder of TMK Pantry, a premium, clean-label sauce brand founded by my mother, Tanvi Shah, and me. Tanvi is a nutritionist and entrepreneur with deep expertise in clean eating; I studied sustainable development and business management at the University of St. Andrews and bring a background in marketing and brand strategy.
TMK Pantry grew out of The Millennial Kitchen cookbook, the food community we built in 2019 around real cooking, clean ingredients, and the idea that what you put in your food matters.
The brand itself is our product story. We make premium sauces—Truffle, Japanese, Tahini. Extra virgin olive oil base. No preservatives. No added sugar. Designed to work as a dressing, marinade, dip, or finishing sauce.
We are bootstrapped, Mumbai-based, and growing.
As we scale, content is at the heart of everything—the way our food looks, moves, and tells its story is how we connect with our customers. We're looking for someone to own that role completely.
ROLE 1: CONTENT CREATOR AND EDITOR (Full Time, Hybrid)
Location: Santacruz West, Mumbai
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
What you'll own:
📸 Food photography — stills, styled shoots, product photography
🎥 People & lifestyle photography — behind-the-scenes, founder content, community storytelling
🎬 Short-form video — Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok-style content
🎞️ Long-form video — brand films, recipe videos, founder stories, documentary-style content
🗓️ Content pipeline — from shoot to publish, end to end
🖥️ Platform presence — building a consistent visual language across Instagram and YouTube
✍🏽 Basic copywriting — captions and content framing where needed
What we're looking for:
✔ A strong portfolio of food and/or lifestyle photography — student work welcome
✔ Proficiency in video editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent
✔ Strong photo editing skills: Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop
✔ A sharp eye for composition, lighting, and colour grading
✔ Solid understanding of short-form content—hooks, pacing, platform behaviour
✔ Comfortable shooting with both professional cameras and a smartphone
✔ Excellent use of AI tools for content creation, editing, and workflow
✔ Strong grasp of UI/UX principles
✔ Self-directed and comfortable owning a brief from concept to delivery
You will have access to our kitchen, our products, and two founders who genuinely love being behind a camera. There is a lot of creative room here for the right person.
