Role Overview:
This role is to capture, analyse, and translate consumer conversations and market signals into actionable insights that support brand strategy, marketing effectiveness, product decisions, and customer experience improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end social listening and consumer insight initiatives across social media, reviews, forums, marketplaces, and digital platforms.
- Monitor brand sentiment, customer feedback, emerging trends, and competitor activity.
- Analyse large volumes of qualitative data and convert it into clear insights, dashboards, and business recommendations.
- Support Marketing and Content teams with consumer-backed messaging, campaign inputs, and positioning insights.
- Provide Sales and Product teams with insights on customer needs, objections, buying behaviour, and experience gaps.
- Track campaign launches, brand health metrics, and customer perception over time.
- Identify early warning signals related to reputation risks or rising customer dissatisfaction.
- Present insights to stakeholders through concise reports, presentations, and leadership summaries.
- Continuously refine listening frameworks, keywords, taxonomies, and insight methodologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social listening, consumer insights, market research, or analytics
- Strong understanding of consumer behaviour and digital ecosystems
- Experience with social listening tools (Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, Meltwater, etc.)
- Strong analytical thinking and storytelling skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decisions with data
