Job Description
At Aviato Consulting, you wont just be managing a team; youll be leading a group of talented consultants, and engineers driving impactful cloud solutions for our clients. As a Consulting Manager, youll combine your technical expertise with your passion for people management to guide your team to success while contributing to Aviatos growth and culture.
What Were Looking For
- Ensuring the right skills are on the right project at the right time, minimizing bench time (unbilled hours) and maximizing the ROI of every engineer’s hour.
- Rigorous Scope Control. Identify Scope Creep immediately and convert client requests into paid Change Orders rather than pro-bono work.
- Implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure every team uses Terraform for best practices, and maintain documentation.
- Managing the Post-Sales Lifecycle and lead the Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and monitor Project Health through data, not just vibes.
Mandatory Experience
- 2+ years of experience in a people management role (not a tech lead).
- 7+ years of experience in the technology industry.
- Experience in a consulting role, preferably in tech or cloud.
Beneficial/Optional Experience
- Experience with Cloud, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preffered.
- Project Management experience.
- Experience in pre-sales or solution architecture.
