SDE-1

We're looking for SDE 1 full-stack developers to help us build and grow Instahyre. Over the last few years, Instahyre achieved fantastic traction in the market with a lean team, with hundreds of customers ranging from the fastest-growing startups like Swiggy, PhonePe, and Postman, to the world's largest corporations like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Walmart, Intel and more. The role: We are a lean team and you'll work on the entire technology stack for each feature you build, which includes the backend, frontend and any deployment automation required. You role will be to build new features, improve them based on customer feedback, and scale them as usage grows while ensuring performance and security. As an SDE-2/3, you will focus heavily on mentoring junior developers and reviewing code, to ensure a well-architected code base with low technical debt. Every engineer who has spent more than a year at Instahyre has improved drastically, at a much faster pace than at their previous workplaces. You'll learn backend, frontend, devops and user experience, as well as leading a team. Expectations: Our backend is written in Python/Django, frontend is AngularJS and database is MySQL. You need to have some familiarity with Django. You should be willing to work a bit on frontend, even if you don’t have prior experience in it. You should also have solid experience in working on large-scale systems used by millions of users, and in technologies such as Elasticsearch and caching systems.
