Automation Testing (Robot Framework)
Pune/Bangalore

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform integration tests in specific network environments; design and execute test scripts; analyse results.
- Read, analyse, and review project documents; interpret technical specs and protocols.
- Ensure application quality; track and verify defect corrections.
- Automate Web GUI, Linux batch, Web service and Rest Api tests.
- Create test cases (requirements analysis, data, execution) with development input; log, report, and re-test defects.
- Monitor automated test sequences; report to development; implement quality gates for CI/CD.
- Collaborate with international test teams; participate in reviews; provide timely progress updates to management.
- Assist Test Manager with test closure reports and stakeholder sign-off.
- Identify and report risks/issues within scope; document mitigations and actions.
Maintain focus and serve as a role model during tight deadlines.

Mandatory Competencies
- Knowledge of Software testing life cycle, Agile Methodology, SOAP/REST, test automation with Robot- framework
- Experience in Selenium, SoapUI, Postman/Bruno, Python, Jira, Confluence
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux
- Knowledge of SQL in Oracle or PostgreSQL Data base
- Knowledge of Yaml file
- Experience on the version control tools like Git.
- Experience on Build tools like pip.
- Experience on the editors like PyCharm/Visual studio code.
- Good to have on GitHub Actions/GitLab pipelines, Test management tool, Unix/Linux shell scripting.
Nice to have
- ISTQB Foundation level Certified
- Exposure to Docker
- Payment domain experience
- Knowledge on Groovy
- Able to design the framework, suggest modification in the existing framework.
