We are building a Process Excellence capability as a core pillar of our 5-year strategy—to systematically identify operational inefficiencies and convert them into technology- and product-led improvements with an automation and AI-first mindset. As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, you will lead high-impact transformation programs using techniques like DMAIC/DMADV, deep analytics, and cross-functional influence to deliver measurable improvements in cycle time, quality, cost, and customer/associate experience—especially across Finance and Operations domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end initiatives leveraging six sigma practices : define problem statements, build charters, establish baselines, execute analysis, implement improvements, and sustain gains through controls.
- Drive data-driven root cause analysis using statistical methods and structured problem-solving to identify true drivers of performance.
- Translate process insights into technology/product opportunities (automation, workflow digitization, analytics, AI enablement) in partnership with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Build strong linkage between process metrics and business outcomes (e.g., cost-to-serve, SLAs, error rates, rework, throughput, productivity).
- Establish governance: tollgates, stakeholder reviews, benefits tracking, control plans, and adoption mechanisms.
- Mentor Green Belts / process analysts and build a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (recognized body such as ASQ, IASSC, or equivalent).
- Strong working knowledge of techniques (are indicative and not limited to) like DMAIC/DMADV, VOC → CTQ, SIPOC, VSM, FMEA, control plans, and process capability.
- Proven hands-on implementation track record with quantified outcomes (eg:- cycle time reduction, defect reduction, cost savings, productivity gains).
- Strong analytics capability: root cause analysis + statistical methods
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills; ability to lead cross-functional change in mid-to-large enterprise environments.
- Experience: 5+ years relevant experience in Process Excellence / Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement, preferably in Finance and Operations.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in automation, digital transformation, product operating models, or continuous improvement for tech-enabled workflows.
- Exposure to process mining, advanced analytics, Power BI/Tableau, SQL, or experimentation methods.
- Black Belt certification
