Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies and providing accurate, timely reports to support clinical decision-making. This role requires a strong commitment to diagnostic excellence, patient care, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The Radiologist will handle both routine and emergency imaging cases while adhering to the highest standards of medical ethics and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret various imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Analyze medical images to detect abnormalities and provide accurate diagnostic reports.
- Perform and supervise image-guided procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and drainages where applicable.
- Maintain high standards of image quality and ensure proper imaging protocols are followed.
- Provide consultation to clinicians regarding imaging findings and differential diagnoses.
- Supervise and guide radiology technicians and support staff in imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging reports, and documentation.
- Ensure proper functioning, calibration, and maintenance of radiology equipment.
- Educate patients about imaging procedures, preparation, and safety precautions.
- Adhere to hospital policies, radiation safety guidelines, and ethical standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
