Project Manager
Location: Mumbai
Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead release management, client onboarding execution, and service governance. This role owns integrated plans, cross-functional coordination, operational rigor for UAT/Production tracking, proactive risk management, and leadership-ready weekly/monthly dashboards with high data accuracy.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will drive operational excellence by integrating release planning with strict service governance protocols. Responsibilities are segmented into three critical verticals:
Release Management & Technical Delivery
- End-to-End Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for all active releases. Accountability includes coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure 100% accuracy in timeline estimation and achieving 95% on-time delivery milestones.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and document 80% of project risks prior to critical path impact. Execute mitigation strategies for critical risks within 48 hours of identification.
Service Governance & Reporting (UAT + Daily Production)
- Dashboard Integrity: Design and maintain weekly operational dashboards and monthly performance dashboards (governance) with 99.5% data accuracy, delivered strictly by the last working day of the month.
- Ticket Escalation Management: Implement a comprehensive tracking system for 100% of UAT and Production tickets. You will be responsible for pre-emptive escalation to prevent SLA breaches.
Client Onboarding (High-Value Clients)
- Workflow Orchestration: Manage end-to-end onboarding workflows for 100% of assigned high-value clients, ensuring completion within agreed SLA timeframes.
- Plan Accuracy: Maintain real-time, accurate client onboarding plans to ensure stakeholder alignment and transparency.
Operational Autonomy Goal: The primary success indicator for this role is the ability to minimize executive intervention.
Required Skills
- Experience: 10-15 years of Technology Experience with 5+ years in project/program management experience of software development project
- Certification: PMP certification or equivalent agile methodology credentials required.
- Skills: planning & dependency management, RAID, stakeholder management, executive reporting, escalation handling, dashboarding; tools such as Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence/SharePoint, MS Project/Planner, Excel/Power BI.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Business Administration.
Good To Have
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Front, Middle, and Back office operations; proven track record of onboarding high-value financial clients.
- ITIL is a plus.
