Required Qualifications
- 8+ years total IT/digital experience with 4+ years dedicated to Optimizely CMS (CMS mandatory).
- Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise Optimizely CMS websites, including multi‑language and multi‑market implementations.
- Strong .NET/C# and Optimizely CMS experience (content types, controllers, blocks, routing, caching, personalization).
- Experience with Optimizely DXP environments, deployment slots, CDN/edge, pipelines, and performance optimization.
- Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, analytics platforms, DAM/PIM, CRM/CDP integrations.
- Strong understanding of SEO, WCAG accessibility, Core Web Vitals, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication skills for workshops, documentation, and stakeholder interaction. Solution Leadership & Architecture (Primary – 60%)
- Lead architecture, design, and technical direction for Optimizely CMS solutions in enterprise environments.
- Define scalable content architecture including content types, blocks, components, templates, workflows, and governance models.
- Own solution design covering CMS, personalization, search, integrations, multilingual/multimarket frameworks, and editorial governance models.
- Design and oversee Optimizely DXP implementations including environment topology, deployment slots, blue-green/canary strategies, CDN/edge configurations, and performance optimization.
- Conduct technical workshops, architectural reviews, solution walkthroughs, and author enablement sessions. Hands‑On Engineering (40%)
- Implement CMS features, content models, components, templates, routing, workflows, language management, and editorial features.
- Implement integrations with CRM/CDP, DAM, PIM, analytics, marketing automation, and external APIs (REST/GraphQL).
- Build personalization rules, content recommendations, search experiences, and advanced content workflows.
- Ensure SEO, accessibility (WCAG), security, performance, and compliance best practices are followed. Enterprise Authoring & Governance
- Design and maintain governance models including content approvals, workflows, roles/permissions, Projects, authoring guidelines, and content lifecycle.
- Support multilingual and multi‑site editorial processes for global content operations.
- Provide training, documentation, and enablement for content teams.
- Define authoring best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across markets. Delivery & Client Interaction
- Serve as primary client-facing lead for technical discussions, workshops, demos, and solution reviews.
- Document architecture, technical specifications, workflows, integration contracts, and operational runbooks.
- Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure sprint delivery outcomes.
- Mentor developers, analysts, and content authors; support UAT, go‑live, and hypercare phases. Preferred Skills
- Optimizely certifications (CMS, Search & Navigation, Content Cloud).
- Experience with Optimizely Graph, Content Recommendations, personalization engines.
- Experience with React/Next.js front-end frameworks.
- Azure cloud experience: App Services, Key Vault, Application Insights, CDN.
- Strong experience in multi‑site/multi‑market content operations and governance.
- Knowledge of OAuth/OIDC, OWASP Top 10, GDPR/CCPA compliance.
- Experience with test automation, performance testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
