Remuneration: 4–5 lakhs per month + multiple incentives after statutory deductions
About the Department
Dr. P.K. Saha Hospital has a growing Neurosurgery and Neurocritical Care programme with facilities for the management of neurosurgical, spine, trauma, emergency neuro, and critically ill neurological patients.
The current surgical workload is 50+ cases per month, and the department is well-equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with neurosurgeons, intensivists, OT teams, and ICU staff in developing and strengthening a comprehensive neuroanaesthesia and neurocritical care service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anaesthesia care for neurosurgical and spine procedures
- Manage perioperative and postoperative care of high-risk neurosurgical patients
- Participate in neurocritical care, ICU support, emergency neuro cases, and clinical protocols
- Coordinate closely with neurosurgeons, intensivists, OT staff, and critical care teams
- Ensure patient safety, documentation, and quality compliance
Candidate Profile
- DM / DrNB / DNB-SS in Neuroanaesthesia after MD / DNB in Anaesthesiology
- Experience in neurosurgical OT and neurocritical care in a corporate hospital or large institutional setup will be an advantage
- Strong clinical judgement, teamwork, and commitment to patient safety
