Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Shashwat Hospitals, located in Junagadh. The Consultant Medical Oncologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating cancer patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary medical team, and participating in crafting individualized treatment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments, providing consultations to patients and families, as well as staying abreast of advancements in oncology practices. The role also involves mentoring medical staff and contributing to improving patient care and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications
- Extensive expertise in Medicine and Medical Oncology
- Knowledge or experience in related disciplines such as Cardiology and Emergency Medicine
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in training and mentoring medical staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and their families
- Specialized qualifications in Medical Oncology (e.g., DM/DNB in Oncology or related specialty)
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Experience with advanced therapeutic technologies and techniques in oncology is a plus
