Role Description
This is a part-time, retainership role for a Consultant (Corporate Compliance) located in Bangalore. The Consultant will be responsible for ensuring corporate compliance with applicable laws such as labour, FSSAI, professional tax, HR matters and GST. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement compliance programs, assess risks, and provide guidance on legal and regulatory requirements. The role also includes preparing reports, offering solutions to compliance-related challenges, and conducting awareness programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Corporate Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Assessment, and Policy Development
- Strong knowledge of local and international compliance laws and corporate regulations
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Professional certification in Compliance, Law, or a related field is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office and compliance management software is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Proficient Hindi & English speaking mandatory along with local language
