This role is part of a dynamic security and data engineering environment where you will contribute to strengthening information security governance through data-driven solutions and automation. You will work at the intersection of cybersecurity, data engineering, and analytics, enabling secure and efficient access to enterprise data for reporting and dashboarding needs. The position involves designing and maintaining data connectors, supporting Power BI development, and ensuring secure API integrations across platforms. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. The environment is highly collaborative and innovation-focused, with strong emphasis on automation, security best practices, and agile delivery. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact data accessibility and security governance in a global organization.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based scripts to build and manage data connectors for dashboards and reporting platforms.
• Ensure automation of data flows between source systems and database platforms to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Manage API access, including credential setup, authentication, and secure integration with internal systems.
• Maintain and enhance existing data connectors as part of ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) activities.
• Support backend development activities to enable interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in innovation labs, contributing ideas for process improvements and new capabilities.
• Support deployment activities and ensure smooth transition of solutions into production environments.
• Ensure secure and compliant handling of data in alignment with information security standards.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (CCP certification preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience with Python scripting for data engineering or automation tasks.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining data connectors and automated data pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI dashboard development and data visualization.
• Solid understanding of data analytics concepts and business intelligence practices.
• Experience in gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative delivery environments.
• Basic understanding of information security principles, network architecture, and infrastructure fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and optimization.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a remote environment.
