Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Consultant in Emergency Medicine, based at our state-of-the-art facility in Pune Division. The primary responsibilities include providing prompt and high-quality medical care to patients in the emergency department, performing patient evaluations, creating treatment plans, and ensuring seamless integration with other medical departments. The role requires active participation in clinical decision-making, emergency procedures, and multi-disciplinary case discussions to improve patient outcomes. The Consultant will also contribute to the hospital's teaching and training programs to further cultivate medical excellence.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Emergency Medicine, including handling acute and critical care patients effectively
- Strong procedural skills such as airway management, trauma care, and cardiac resuscitation
- Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and development of immediate treatment plans
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to lead and work collaboratively in high-pressure and fast-paced environments
- Minimum educational qualification of MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine or equivalent
- Prior experience in a tertiary care or teaching hospital, preferably in emergency services, is highly desirable
- Commitment to continuous education and staying updated with the latest advancements in emergency medical care
