Role Description The Consultant III – JAPAC Strategy and Business Origination is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role is responsible for driving strategic initiatives and business origination across Japan and Asia-Pacific (JAPAC) markets, including identifying growth opportunities, supporting market entry and expansion, and developing client-specific strategic recommendations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and financial analyses, preparing client-ready presentations and proposals, and collaborating with internal and client stakeholders to shape and deliver consulting engagements. The Consultant III will lead workstreams, mentor junior team members, and contribute to thought leadership and go-to-market activities focused on JAPAC. The role requires frequent interaction with senior client leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality execution and sustainable impact.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, develop insights, and support strategic decision-making.
- Experience in consulting and management consulting, including leading workstreams and managing client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Solid understanding of finance, including financial modeling, business case development, and performance analysis.
- Proven experience in strategy development and business origination, ideally in JAPAC or other international markets.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area and engage effectively with regional and global stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver under tight timelines.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced consulting environment, with a commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory practices.
