About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Consultant to own and manage the complete HR Operations function. This role will serve as the backbone of day-to-day HR, ensuring smooth employee experiences from onboarding through exit.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR career who wants end-to-end ownership, a fast-paced tech environment, and direct exposure to building HR processes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
1. Onboarding & Induction
- Manage complete pre-joining documentation and communication
- Send personalized welcome emails and onboarding kits to new hires
- Conduct structured induction/orientation sessions for new employees
- Create and maintain employee records in HR systems from day one
- Coordinate IT access, ID card issuance, and workstation setup with relevant teams
- Track and manage probation periods, ensuring timely confirmations
2. Employee Data & HRIS Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee master database
- Update employee records for designation changes, salary revisions, and department transfers
- Manage day-to-day operations of the HRIS / employee management system
- Maintain organized digital employee files and all HR documentation
3. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Process employee confirmations upon probation completion
- Coordinate promotions, role changes, and internal transfers
- Manage end-to-end resignation processing
- Conduct exit interviews and coordinate full & final settlement
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain statutory compliance records and ensure timely filings
- Keep labour law documentation current and accessible
- Update HR policies and employee handbooks as required
- Manage employee contract lifecycle including renewals and amendments
5. Employee Engagement Support
- Organize office celebrations, team events, and employee recognition activities
- Manage internal HR communications and announcements
- Support wellness initiatives and employee well-being programs
6. Training & Development
- Identify training needs across teams through surveys, performance reviews, and manager inputs
- Coordinate and schedule employee training programs, workshops, and e-learning initiatives
- Maintain training calendars and track employee participation and completion records
- Liaise with external training vendors and manage logistics for in-house and off-site programs
- Support onboarding training for new joiners including role-specific induction modules
- Assist in designing and updating training materials, SOPs, and learning content
- Track training effectiveness through feedback forms and post-training assessments
- Maintain a training MIS and prepare reports on L&D activities for HR leadership
7. Marketing & Employer Branding (Internal & External)
- Driving internal communication and storytelling
- Promoting company culture, values, and achievements
- Creating campaigns for events, celebrations, and milestones
- Building and promoting employer brand across platforms
- Managing career page and job branding content
- Leveraging social media (LinkedIn, etc.) with updates for talent attraction
- Showcasing company culture through content, testimonials, and campaigns
Skills & Qualifications
Must Have
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent degree from a Tier 1 institute with strong academic credentials.
- 3-5 years of HR operations experience
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Experience with any HRIS / HR software
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
Good to Have
- Experience in IT/Tech startup environment
- Experience organizing employee engagement events
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
