Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Development Studies, Rural Development, Social Work, Management, Commerce, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related disciplines may apply for this position.
Master's Degree (Preferred/Advantageous):
Candidates with a Master's degree such as MA in Public Administration, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Development Studies, or Governance; MSc in Public Policy, Environment & Sustainability, Data Analytics, or Statistics; MBA in Public Policy, Infrastructure Management, Rural Management, CSR, Operations or other relevant disciplines; Masters in Public Health; LLM; ME/M.Tech or other relevant disciplines will be preferred. Candidates with professional certifications in project management, public finance, or governance will be additionally advantaged.
Relevant Work Experience
Candidates with 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in government advisory, public sector consulting, development sector organisations, research and policy institutions, multilateral agencies, or public policy and governance engagements are eligible to apply for this position.
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in leading analytical workstreams, managing client relationships, delivering policy research, programme management, stakeholder engagement, monitoring and evaluation, and advisory project delivery for government departments and public institutions. Exposure to sectoral advisory in areas such as governance, social development, urban development, infrastructure, public finance, or livelihoods will be an added advantage.
Role Overview
The Consultant - Government Advisory will lead analytical workstreams, manage client interactions, and independently deliver high-quality advisory outputs for Government Departments and Public Institutions. The role involves significant ownership of research, analysis, project delivery, and stakeholder management.
The role requires strong expertise in policy analysis and advisory, demonstrated project management capability, and the ability to independently manage complex engagements. The selected candidate will play a key role in governance transformation, strategic advisory, institutional strengthening, programme design, and development impact projects.

Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in government advisory, public sector consulting, or development sector project delivery, along with strong analytical, research, and leadership capabilities. Candidates with prior experience in managing client relationships with government departments,leading multi-stakeholder projects, and delivering high-quality advisory outputs will be preferred.
Preference will also be given to candidates with sectoral expertise in governance, social development, urban development, public finance, infrastructure, or livelihoods, along with willingness to travel for project-related activities.
Travel & Mobility Requirements
- Willingness to travel within Rajasthan and other locations, as required for project assignments.
- Ability to undertake field visits, stakeholder consultations, district-level reviews, and implementation assessments.
- Flexibility to work in dynamic and fast-paced public sector environments.
- Candidates should be comfortable with short-duration and periodic travel based on project needs.
