About The Opportunity

Role & Responsibilities
- Perform a full spectrum of general surgical procedures including laparoscopic, open, and emergency surgeries with precision and efficiency.
- Lead pre-operative assessments, post-operative follow-ups, and multidisciplinary case reviews to ensure optimal patient recovery and safety.
- Collaborate with anesthesia, ICU, and nursing teams to coordinate intraoperative and postoperative care delivery.
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation, comply with hospital protocols, and adhere to national surgical guidelines and infection control standards.
- Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives, surgical audits, and peer-review processes to uphold clinical excellence.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior surgeons, residents, and medical students in surgical techniques and patient management.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS with MS in General Surgery
- Valid NMC registration
- ACLS certification
- Proficiency in laparoscopic and open general surgery
- Experience in emergency and trauma surgery
- Strong clinical decision-making in acute surgical settings
Preferred
- Fellowship in GI surgery or surgical oncology
- Experience in robotic-assisted surgery
- Teaching or academic hospital exposure
