Your role, your impact
As an Oracle Cloud HCM Benefits Functional Consultant, you’ll join our growing Oracle HCM practice, taking ownership of the design, configuration, and implementation of Benefits solutions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a seamless employee experience.
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to interpret requirements, configure benefits plans, support data migrations, and lead the functional stream for Benefits projects. Your work will have a direct impact on employee engagement, compliance (including ACA), and overall HR operational efficiency. This is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful HCM transformations while working independently and collaboratively across global teams.
Your day-to-day
- Lead and deliver at least 4 end-to-end Oracle Cloud HCM Benefits implementations as a functional consultant;
- Review client requirements and configure Programs, Plan Types, Plans, and Options based on business needs;
- Configure Annual Goal Amount Plans and support mid-year balance handling;
- Manage end-to-end Benefits data loads using HDL and HSDL, including participant enrollments, dependents, contacts, and designations;
- Troubleshoot data load issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with business teams for resolution;
- Define and configure Derived Factors, Eligibility Profiles, and related compensation structures;
- Configure Rates, Coverages, Life Events, and Self-Service pages, including rule-based personalization aligned with design discussions;
- Collaborate with third-party vendors (e.g., ADP, Kronos, Benefix, Known2U) for benefits, payroll, and time administration;
- Support ACA reporting, ensuring compliance and accurate data generation;
- Develop and maintain complex Fast Formulas, including Rate Periodizations and Suspension Rules;
- Handle multiple concurrent assignments independently while delivering high-quality outcomes;
- Participate in testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and support post-go-live activities and user adoption.
Keys to your success
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline;
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Oracle Cloud HCM, with a specialization in Benefits module;
- Proven experience configuring eligibility rules, life events, and rates, along with complex Fast Formulas;
- Expertise in data conversion techniques using HDL and HSDL;
- Deep knowledge of benefits processes, compliance, and configuration best practices;
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot configuration and data issues effectively;
- Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with onshore teams and clients.
Extra edge
- Experience working with benefits-related vendors such as ADP, Kronos, Benefix, or Known2U;
- Exposure to ACA compliance and reporting;
- Familiarity with other HCM modules such as Core HR or Payroll;
- Prior experience in client-facing roles, conducting workshops, and supporting user training.
