Role Description The Consultant Doctor role is a full-time on-site position based in Chennai at VCare Hair & Skin Clinics. The Consultant Doctor will conduct detailed consultations for hair and skin concerns, perform clinical assessments, diagnose conditions, and recommend evidence-based treatment plans. Responsibilities include supervising and performing procedures such as laser treatments, hair therapies, and related dermatological or trichological interventions in line with clinic protocols. The role involves monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and ensuring accurate documentation of medical histories and outcomes. The Consultant Doctor will collaborate with trichologists, cosmetologists, and other clinical staff, participate in case discussions, and support patient education on treatment options, aftercare, and preventive measures while maintaining high standards of safety and ethical practice.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution; MD/Diploma in Dermatology, Trichology, or related specialization preferred.
- Valid medical registration/license to practice, with clinical experience in dermatology, trichology, cosmetology, or aesthetic medicine.
- Experience in performing and supervising hair and skin procedures, such as laser treatments, hair restoration, and advanced skin therapies.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Excellent patient communication and counseling skills, with a focus on empathy, confidentiality, and patient education.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Attention to detail in medical documentation, adherence to safety protocols, and commitment to quality standards.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and align with VCare’s protocols, schedules, and continuous learning initiatives.
