Role Overview
The Dermatologist will be responsible for delivering high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based
dermatology consultations through Cureskin’s digital platforms. This role focuses on accurate
diagnosis, personalised treatment planning, continuity of care, and patient satisfaction in an
online-first care model.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Consultation & Care
● Conduct online video consultations for patients booking through the Cureskin App or
Cureskin Kiosk Centres.
● Ensure proper patient identification, consent, and documentation for every
teleconsultation.
● Evaluate patient history, images, videos, and real-time inputs to arrive at a clinical
assessment.
● Diagnose and manage common dermatological conditions including acne, pigmentation,
hair loss, scalp disorders, sensitive skin and other routine skin concerns.
● Prescribe appropriate treatments aligned with Cureskin clinical protocols and standard
dermatology guidelines.
● Ensure rational use of medications, regimens where appropriate, and patient safety at all
times.
2. Treatment Planning & Continuity
● Create personalised, stage-wise treatment plans suitable for online management.
● Review follow-up cases, track progress, and modify treatment plans based on skin/hair
response and tolerance.
● Ensure treatment continuity by maintaining clear documentation and handover notes
where required.
● Address side effects, treatment concerns, and patient queries during follow-ups/in raised
tickets.
● Maintain low drop-off rates by reinforcing adherence and managing expectations.
3. Patient Education & Counselling
● Educate patients on their condition, expected outcomes, timelines, and realistic goals.
● Provide clear guidance on product usage, lifestyle modifications, and preventive
skincare.
● Reinforce adherence to treatment plans and manage expectations compassionately.
4. Platform & Documentation Compliance
● Accurately document consultation findings, diagnosis, prescriptions, and advice within
the Cureskin system.
● Ensure timely completion of consultation notes and digital records.
● Follow Cureskin SOPs, clinical pathways, and medico-legal documentation standards.
5. Kiosk Centre Support
● Conduct consultations for patients connecting from Cureskin Kiosk Centres.
● Coordinate effectively with on-ground kiosk staff for smooth patient flow and experience.
● Ensure clarity in communication when patients require assisted consultations.
6. Quality, Safety & Ethics
● Maintain high standards of clinical quality, ethics, patient confidentiality, data privacy,
and secure handling of electronic medical records.
● Adhere to telemedicine guidelines, medical council regulations, and internal Cureskin
policies.
● Escalate cases requiring physical examination or in-person care appropriately.
7. Collaboration & Teamwork
● Work closely with the Cureskin clinical leadership, doctors’ team, and support staff.
● Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, audits, and training sessions when
required.
● Contribute to continuous improvement of online consultation workflows and patient
experience.
Key Skills & Competencies
● Strong clinical knowledge in general dermatology and trichology.
● Comfort and confidence with tele-dermatology and digital consultation tools.
● Clear communication skills with empathy and patient-centric approach.
● Ability to manage time efficiently in a high-volume online consultation environment.
● Commitment to evidence-based, ethical dermatology practice.
Reporting Structure
● Reports to: Manager,Medical Team, Cureskin
This role is critical in delivering accessible, doctor-led, and high-quality dermatology care
through Cureskin’s digital ecosystem.
