Role: Mapics Techno Functional Consultant

AS400_Stack, Infor XA, Mapics
Key Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of Infor XA (Mapics) ERP System.
- Incident resolution, production support activities and development tasks to support & maintain business-critical applications on AS400 platform.
- Analyze and resolve AS400 application incidents, job failures and data issues.
- Debugging and error handling
- Implement code changes using RPG, RPGILE, CLP and CLLE.
- Monitor batch jobs and job queues.
- Manage incidents and service requests.
- Package and deploy code using change management tools.
- Perform root cause analysis and document RCA.
- Monitor and maintain performance of the application on a regular basis.
- Unit and integration testing
- Maintain SOPs, KT documents and project related documentation.
Required Skills
- Infor XA (Mapics)
- Strong experience of working on legacy AS400 application.
- Strong hands-on in programming using RPG/400, ILE RPG, RPG Free Format, CL/400.
- Knowledge of ILE concepts, Service programs and Sub-procedures.
- Proficiency in DB2/400, WRKQRY and SQL queries.
- Knowledge of any ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira etc.
- Good knowledge of AS400 Job scheduling, IFS, FTP and spool file management.
- Knowledge of any change management tools like ALDON, Turnover, Implementor.
- Knowledge of Batch debug, Subfiles, SDA and RLU.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain domain
