Role Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, and managing APIs using the Apigee platform, ensuring scalable, secure, and high‑performance API solutions aligned with business and architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement API-driven software solutions based on business and technical requirements
- Gather and analyze API-specific requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Build, deploy, and manage APIs using the Apigee platform
- Perform technical feasibility analysis and maintain the requirements pipeline
- Define API strategy and provide technical direction
- Evaluate and recommend relevant technologies, tools, and frameworks
Technical Skills
- Programming & Platforms: Python, Angular, Bash
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- API Security: OAuth 2.0, JWT, API key management, threat protection, rate limiting
- Cloud (GCP/AWS): IAM, Monitoring & Logging, VPC, Load Balancing, WAF
- DevOps & CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
- GitOps: ArgoCD
- Apigee: Strong hands-on experience
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
