Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Consultant/Associate Consultant - Medical Oncologist based in Shimoga. The role involves diagnosing and managing cancer patients, designing personalized treatment protocols, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, participating in patient education, and adhering to evidence-based clinical practices. The chosen candidate will also contribute to the continuous professional development of medical staff and provide support in emergencies as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge in Medicine with specialized expertise in Medical Oncology and familiarity with Hemato-Oncology.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to training and mentoring junior staff members and medical trainees
- MD/DNB in Internal Medicine or Radiotherapy with DM/DNB in Medical Oncology (required)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage patient care with empathy
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but exceptional candidates at all levels will be considered
