NYDHEE (Network for Youth Development and Healthy Environment) is a nonprofit organization established in 2001, dedicated to empowering marginalized communities in Odisha and Jharkhand. Focused on tribal, Dalit, and economically disadvantaged groups, including women, small farmers, and youth, we aim to promote sustainable development and build resilient communities. Through innovative programs in areas such as sustainable livelihoods, natural resource management, health, and education, we have positively impacted over 8,850 households in 171 villages. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bhubaneswar for a Consultant – MIS & Documentation at NYDHEE. The consultant will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and analyzing the Management Information System (MIS), developing comprehensive documentation of organizational initiatives, and providing data-driven insights for program planning and assessment. Responsibilities will include coordinating with field teams, creating standard operating procedures, managing reports and presentations, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting project evaluations and proposals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating, managing, and analyzing Management Information Systems (MIS), and experience handling large datasets.
- Strong skills in documentation, including report writing, proposal drafting, and creating detailed project records.
- Expertise in research and data analysis, with the ability to interpret and present complex data effectively.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, managing workflows and collaboration with field teams efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Odia (preferred).
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Experience working in development projects, particularly in rural and marginalized community contexts, is an advantage.
